Mo'ath Zaghdad
Seven years building and maintaining production web applications, mostly in Django and ASP.NET Core, with a B.E. in Computer Systems Engineering. The through-line of my work is measurement: I like systems that can tell you how they're doing, and I like making the slow parts of them fast.
Senior Software Developer (contract)
Designed and built ScheduleStation, the crew-scheduling, dispatch and time-tracking platform for a demolition and environmental contractor. Delivered with full source ownership to the company; retained for maintenance and new features.
- Django / PostgreSQL + PostGIS / Celery backend serving an office portal, site kiosk, supervisor mobile app and agency portal from one codebase, each on its own domain with per-surface permissions.
- Compare-first dispatch: one versioned email/SMS per agency and worker per day with what-changed diffs, magic-link accept/decline, reminders and escalation.
- GPS-stamped, geofenced clock-ins on managed iPhones; drawings streamed as Deep Zoom tiles behind mutual-TLS device certificates.
Software Engineer
Product tracking and verification for Lucid Green: Django applications and APIs, laboratory integrations feeding test results straight onto printed labels, and continuous performance work across a Heroku/PostgreSQL stack.
- Built a browser-based product label editor and a PDF generator running at 65–73 labels per second.
- Took the heaviest API from a 1,840 ms median to 139 ms, cutting its share of web dyno load from 55% to 7.6%.
- Deployed New Relic monitoring and used it to find and remove the bottlenecks in critical flows.
Full Stack Developer
Client web applications and APIs, plus maintenance and optimization of WordPress and e-commerce sites.
- Led an ASP.NET Core MVC / EF Core platform for b:Rare Health, with HIPAA-compliant forms and CRM integration.
- Customized WooCommerce builds for Nama-Fiji and cut 0.8 s from load time, with 35% fewer requests.
- Built the Cars Catalogs API on ASP.NET Core with Azure Blob Storage, monitored through App Metrics and Grafana.

Advanced Diploma, Software Engineering Technology – Artificial Intelligence (Fast-Track)
Two-year, project-based program covering supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning, neural networks and deep learning, NLP and recommender systems, big data tools, cloud machine learning, ML testing and MLOps, and AI ethics and data governance, with Python, scikit-learn, TensorFlow and PyTorch throughout.
A team project that uses Isolation Forest to analyse NAS activity in 10-minute user/IP windows and flag unusual behaviour from file operations, transferred data, connection failures and other activity. I worked across most of it: data preparation and feature engineering, the anomaly detection pipeline, backend and system integration, the dashboard, testing and the final presentation. I also grounded the idea in real NAS activity patterns I had seen in IT work, which made the data and use cases more realistic. The project ran the full cycle: defining the problem, designing the solution, implementing and testing it, interpreting the model results, and presenting the work.
B.E. Computer Systems Engineering
Data structures, algorithms and embedded systems; graduation projects covered an industrial monitoring device and a web-based student information system.
